Intervals

So bored on this snowstorm day in Chicago. Watched a couple of episodes of My Fair Princess Season 3, made dinner, and took a shower. It's almost time to renew this website. Considering my current financial situation I thought I'd cancel it. Almost left academia, this website seems no use to me, or to others. I opened each page and read the content, and deleted some part or pages. They are unnecessary, and probably because I'm still not comfortable to get my story out of the world.

Then I came to the blog page. The latest draft was not published for some reason. By "publish", I certainly mean put it on the website protected by a password that only I know. When I set the publish time, I wanted to make it the time I edited the last time, which is June 8, 2019. I clicked a few buttons, and thought I set the current date, but it was only 2020. It was almost 1.5 years ago since I sat down and wrote something for myself.

Things have changed so much during this period, this interval, and one obvious thing is my writing skill has degressed. It looks like I have found a reason to keep this website alive, even if the most important page, this blog, is invisible to others.
