While I’m writing this post, I realized that all my posts have one word title. I actually do wonder how long it will be before I couldn’t find a good single word to use as title and have to use a phrase instead. For now, I’m good.
There’s basically nothing happened. Got up as usual, and prepared breakfast. Did a little bit course preparation, submitted syllabi for this semester, and prepared lunch. The courses this afternoon were low profile too. First course was a lab, so I just waited to answer students’ questions individually. I’m surprised this semester’s students in my Intro class are so much smarter than those one year ago, and I always wondered why. Even now when I thought about that class, I felt a weird vibe. Second course this afternoon was NLP, and was also simple. After it’s done, around 3pm, I laid down and looked at my phone for a while. When it was almost 5pm, I got up and prepared my dinner. Dishes washed. And of course, after that I jerked off, and showered.
After taking the shower, it was 7, so I got tea, and sat down. Everything is in order. Everything is still, is quiet. Not even music is played. Browsed the photos I took in the past, from 2010 to 2011. When the picture of my desk at that time showed up, the smell of the books, the chill air in the room, the touch of the curtain, the light of my small lamp, and the sound of walking on the hardwood floor, everything surrounded me right away. Like a time capsule frozen in the dimension of time, and the moment you opened it, it released every tiny bit relentlessly.
Oh look, there’s the picture with both my aunt and her dog Ga. And Dianr. Should I send those pics to her? Probably not. It’ll only upset her. Maybe later.
I wish I’m in my own home right now. Then I might turn on the lamp, and read some silly books. Comics, maybe. This is the occasion when music doesn’t help, so even though I wanted to play some songs by GARNET CROW, maybe *Cried a little*, and I decided not to. I also wish it’s raining now, and I can open the window a little bit to hear the sound of rain, without getting too cold.
Soon I’ll prepared my last meal of the day, and go to bed, read Dorian Yates’ biography, and sleep. Tomorrow I’m going to train my back. This is one of those days when the serenity of life pushes you to just do nothing, and feel it with all your heart.
Then what else do I need to wish for?
