Life Book
Woke up one hour late. When I woke up it was already 15 minutes to nine clock. Probably because I slept so well. I drank half dose of zzzquil before sleep, but I still woke up and couldn’t fall asleep in the middle of night. I realized it might be the pain on my butt from the shot. I took out and swallowed 2 pills of Ibuprofen and went back to bed. It was just amazing and magical that I could actually feel that the pain was going away gradually, and eventually I fell asleep again with my sleeping mask on. That was probably 3am. Then the next thing I know was I woke up 6 hours later. This was the sleep I needed for quite a while, I guess, because I didn’t really sleep well for the past few days. I’ll need to postpone my leg training today one hour late as well. But, when I woke up, took off my mask, and the moment I saw the blue sky outside and my room filled with daylight, a sharp contrast to the cloudy and snowy day yesterday, I feel happiness.
There’s been an idea, which is very similar to the memoir I mentioned yesterday. I want to edit/write a series of books about myself. It doesn’t have to be like a normal book or memoir; just to display all the things I have done — all the words I have written down (blog posts, memoir book, diaries, etc) from everywhere, all the pictures I have taken, no matter how good or bad they were, all the stories behind the CDs I have collected, or discarded, or lost, all the lyrics I have written. It also serves as a memoir, because I can add comments to the pictures, or just a few words something I wanted to say to a picture. All the items will be arranged to a chronological order.
I don’t know what to call it yet, I mean the series. Maybe “Life Book“, because basically that’s all of my life. In a sunny and peaceful day like today, this idea reminds me of a song of Rina Aiuchi, 「SONG OF THE LIFE」. Or maybe, “The Man Who Lives in the Memories“? Too long isn’t it? How about “The Tale of Memories“? Haha, another title from GARNET CROW.
The idea of having such a book printed out, or exist, is exciting but also terrifying, because many of the things are so private. If they were presented as a hardcopy book in real life, there’s always someone who will find it, unless I burn them. Without settling down, I can’t imagine carrying everything everywhere. But the thing is, will I ever finish the book and print it out? It might just be another ongoing project that I’ll never finish. No matter what, that’s the idea, and I really want to make it happen, at least for now.
