Early Fall

Today’s weather is wonderful, but a different kind. It is very sunny and clear outside, but there are winds and the temperature is much cooler. It is pretty much like a beautiful day in fall. Forecast says it’s just a delusion, because from tomorrow the temperature will go back up again, but thank god it’ll be sunny.

I laid down after workout, and turned off the AC. With the window open, my apartment feel quite cool. I closed my eyes, and let occasional breeze touch my whole body while I slowly fell asleep.

Body has memories. It reminded me of those days in Boulder, when the weather started to drop. In my first apartment in Boulder, I was starting a new life, without much activities other than school work. The only entertainment was probably to go to Pearl street and/or take the bus to Denver. It left a great mark on me probably because it was the first fall I spent not in Beijing. Even the cool weather feels familiar and yet different.

After the whole summer, the first day with the hint of colder days ahead feels so comfortable that all feelings seems getting heavier. Songs with the feel of falls also popped up, such as SARD UNDERGROUND’s 「夏の終わりに．．．」.
